In Singapore, the import and sale of sugar gliders are regulated by the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA). As of 2021, a category B permit is needed to import and promote sugar gliders inside the country. This permit is just issued to licensed pet shops or registered businesses.
